Ski Club AGM 2026

We had our club's 60th AGM late June 2026 at the historic village of Collector, NSW, about 40 min drive north from Canberra, to accommodate our Canberra members, with lunch in the Dome at the Lake George Winery. The acoustics in the Dome were amazing. You could hear someone on the other side of the table talking as if they were alongside you.

The meeting was held in the Collector Community Hall. Our daughter-in -laws parents live in Collector and her mum raised nearly $1m in grants to upgrade the basic country hall to a Regional Emergency Evacuation Centre. It now has a full commercial kitchen, substantial bathrooms, fire resistant metal fly screens, window showers and extra water and fuel storage.

On the way home we stopped over night at colonial Berrima 1831, one of our favourite place in Australia. We stayed here a lot when orienteering in the nearby Belanglo State Forest. We woke up to a superb country autumn morning.
